Discount/Concession in Fee Studio

Introduction 

To offer discounts or concessions to your students/applicants, it is necessary to have a Fee studio defined for the same. Fee studio allows you to configure fee details, set collection timelines, and enable features like discounts or concessions as per your institute’s needs. This ensures that eligible applicants can avail the applicable discounts seamlessly during fee payment.

Menu -> Fee Setup -> Fee Studio

Steps to Enable Discounts/Concessions

  • From the Fee Selection page, click on the fee for which you want to enable discounts.
  • On the right-hand side of the page, you will find the “Enable Discount/Concession” toggle. Note: This toggle is visible only if the fee is configured under one of the following payment channels: Workflow-Based, Recurring, Payment Link, or Amount-Based.
  • Enable the toggle to activate discounts or concessions for the selected fee.
  • After enabling, a message will appear below the toggle indicating how many discount/concession workflows are linked to this fee.
  • Hover over this message to view the names of the matched workflows.


  • If you disable the toggle, the option to apply discounts or concessions will not be visible or applicable for this fee.
